PROJECTS

/ ABOUT

Since its foundation, GT Corporation has worked in marine hydraulic engineering, relying on the experience and expertise of professionals who have devoted many years to building maritime structures

GT INSPECT is a Russian company within an international group whose divisions work in hydraulic engineering construction across regions of the Russian Federation. The company surveys, designs, builds, reconstructs and repairs marine hydraulic engineering structures. We use only modern and safe equipment.

Berths in Izhevskoye

In 2000-2002, Berths No. 1, 2 and 3 were reconstructed and Berth No. 6 was built at the support base of LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft LLC in Izhevskoye, Kaliningrad Region. The base was created for the construction and operation of fixed offshore oil production platforms in the Russian Baltic Sea.

GT INSPECT also restored the anti-corrosion coating of the OB-1 support block, left unfinished since Soviet times, on the Baltic Sea shelf. The company installed and launched the OB-2 block of the D-6 platform at the Kravtsovskoye field.

Underwater foundation in the Port of Severodvinsk

In 2004-2005, a pit was reconstructed in the Port of Severodvinsk. An underwater bedding layer was placed at a depth of 22.5 meters for the construction of the Prirazlomnaya offshore ice-resistant oil production platform. A special underwater leveling machine based on a jack-up platform was designed and built for dumping and precise leveling

In 2006, this equipment and technology were used to level and protect the seabed from erosion near berthing structures in the Port of Primorsk, Leningrad Region. In 2007, they were used to create an underwater bed for landing a submersible barge carrying the support block of the Varandey offshore terminal.

Berthing facility complex

As part of the development of oil fields in the Northern Caspian, a berthing facility complex was designed and built in 2006-2007 for the Krasnye Barrikady shipyard in Astrakhan Region to transship heavy modules for offshore oil production platforms at the N. Korchagin field.

Reconstruction in the Port of Baltiysk

From 2003 to 2008, by order of FSUE Rosmorport, old military berths were reconstructed and new berthing structures were built in the Port of Baltiysk, providing direct road and rail ferry links between Kaliningrad Region and Leningrad Region through the Port of Ust-Luga.

The Port of Baltiysk includes a cargo-passenger ferry terminal, a universal road-rail ferry terminal and a container terminal.

Underwater installation of ground anchors

GT INSPECT was among the first companies to design and apply underwater installation of ground anchors for the reconstruction and strengthening of port hydraulic engineering structures.

The technology tested in the Port of Ventspils was successfully used in 2008 during the reconstruction of Berths No. 1-4 at the Vysotsk coal port, under highly complex geological conditions, and during the strengthening of the breakwaters at the Port of Severodvinsk.

Reconstruction of entrance breakwaters

In 2007-2009, the entrance breakwaters of the Kaliningrad Sea Canal were reconstructed. The project required a significant number of vessels and construction capacities.

To deliver more than 100 thousand cubic meters of shaped concrete blocks to the breakwaters, the team even repeated an idea of German engineers by laying a narrow-gauge railway along the head of the South Breakwater. In the same years, the protective breakwater of the Pionersky fishing port in Kaliningrad Region was reconstructed.

Pier of the Taman complex

In 2010, we built the pile foundation of the grain terminal at the Port of Taman. To receive design-tonnage vessels, the pier extends far into the Black Sea.

Reconstruction of ports in Sochi

At the request of FSUE Rosmorport, we began repairing Sochi port structures before the main Olympic construction program started. By 2013, all old berths at the Port of Sochi had been repaired, reconstructed and re-equipped

Berthing and protective structures were built in the new Imeretinsky Port in Adler, and cruise passenger terminals in Greater Sochi were reconstructed.

Monitoring and repair

Since 1992, we have continuously monitored structures, restored anti-corrosion coatings and repaired berthing structures in the variable water-level zone using cofferdams of various configurations and world-class coating and repair materials.

We renovate fender, mooring and rail equipment at berths. The testing center inspects and surveys hydraulic engineering structures, issues and updates facility passports, and performs engineering calculations in all required software systems.
